This website, aneli.eu (the "Site"), is operated by SIA Aneli, reg. No. 40203635712, VAT No. LV40203635712, registered office: Rūpniecības iela 5–14A, Riga, LV-1010, Latvia ("ANELI Antwerp", "we", "us", "our"). By visiting our Site and/or purchasing from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"), including the policies referenced herein (Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Refund & Return Policy, Shipping Policy, Legal Notice ). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Site. Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc., which provides the e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products to you.
1. Online store terms
By agreeing to these Terms, you confirm that you are at least the age of majority in your country of residence. You may not use our products or the Site for any illegal or unauthorised purpose, nor transmit any malicious code. A breach of these Terms may result in immediate termination of your access to the Services.
2. Products, descriptions and availability
All jewellery is described as accurately as possible, including metal, stones and approximate carat weights. Natural gemstones and diamonds are unique: minor variations in colour, clarity and inclusions are inherent characteristics of natural stones and do not constitute defects. Where a carat weight is stated as "to be confirmed" or size-dependent, the final specification is confirmed in the certificate accompanying the piece. We have made every effort to display colours accurately, but we cannot guarantee that your screen’s display of any colour will be accurate. All pieces are subject to availability; many are produced individually or in limited quantities. We reserve the right to limit quantities, discontinue any product, or refuse any order at our reasonable discretion.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are stated in euros (EUR) and include Latvian VAT where applicable. Orders shipped outside the European Union are sold as exports at 0% Latvian VAT; import duties, taxes and clearance charges in the destination country are payable by you, as set out in section 6. We may change prices at any time before an order is placed. Once we have confirmed your order, the agreed price is fixed and will not be changed. Payment is processed by our payment service providers; we do not store full card details. Certain pieces may be marked "price on request" — for these, a binding price is provided through personal consultation.

4. Made-to-order and bespoke pieces
Rings and certain other pieces are produced to order, including in your individual size. Production times are indicated on the product page or during order confirmation. Bespoke commissions and personalised (e.g. engraved) pieces are made to your specification and are exempt from the right of withdrawal, as set out in our Refund & Return Policy.
Where a piece is made to your specification, the instructions you give us — stone parameters, size, metal and setting — are recorded in the order confirmation, and you confirm at that point that the piece is produced to your instructions and that the right of withdrawal does not apply to it.
5. Shipping and delivery
We deliver within Latvia and to the destinations listed in our Shipping Policy. The delivery period applicable to your order is confirmed in your order confirmation; unless we agree otherwise, delivery takes place no later than 30 days after the contract is concluded. All shipments are insured in accordance with the terms of the carriage contract and require a signature on delivery. See our Shipping Policy for details.
6. International orders (outside the European Union)
We accept orders from the countries listed under Shipping Destinations in our Shipping Policy. Orders are accepted at our discretion and the contract is concluded when we issue a written order confirmation.
Duties and taxes. Goods are sold and handed over in Latvia and exported at 0% VAT. Prices exclude all import duties, taxes, customs clearance and brokerage charges in the destination country. You act as the importer of record and are responsible for those charges and for any local licences or permits required to import jewellery or precious stones into your country. We declare shipments at their full commercial value and cannot mark them otherwise. Where a shipment is refused or not collected, our return transport, storage and customs costs are deducted from any refund.
Your rights. Your statutory rights under the law of your country of residence apply to your purchase. We grant no additional contractual warranty. We are not responsible for changes in the condition of a piece arising after delivery from wear, impact, alteration, or work carried out by anyone other than us.
Restrictions. We may decline any order, and refund it in full, where insured carriage, sanctions screening, export controls or customs requirements cannot be satisfied. We do not currently accept orders from Québec, Canada.
7. Returns and statutory rights
Returns are governed by our Refund & Return Policy: If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you have a statutory right of withdrawal within 14 days of delivery. We do not offer any return arrangement beyond the rights given to you by law.
We are liable for any lack of conformity that existed at the time of delivery, under the statutory conformity guarantee applicable in your country of residence — in the European Union, not less than two years from delivery. We do not grant any commercial guarantee. Changes arising after delivery from ordinary wear, impact, alteration, incorrect storage or work carried out elsewhere do not constitute a lack of conformity.
8. Certificates and authenticity
Each piece is accompanied by a certificate confirming the properties of the stones and the quality of the piece. Where stated, stones are certified by independent laboratories such as GIA or HRD Antwerp. Certificates form part of the delivered product. We recommend that you retain the certificate: where a piece is returned without it, the certificate’s replacement cost may be taken into account when we assess any diminished value. The absence of a certificate does not affect your statutory rights in respect of a lack of conformity.
9. Accuracy of billing and account information
You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and account information and to promptly update it as needed. Where the information you provide is incomplete or incorrect and prevents us from fulfilling or dispatching your order, we may cancel it. We will notify you using the contact details provided and refund any payment in full.
10. Intellectual property
All content on the Site — including designs, product photography, texts and the ANELI Antwerp name and monogram — is our property or used under licence and may not be reproduced, copied or exploited without our express written permission.
11. Errors, inaccuracies and omissions
Occasionally there may be information on the Site containing typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions relating to descriptions, pricing, promotions or availability. We reserve the right to correct such errors and to change or update information at any time without prior notice. Where an order has already been submitted, we may cancel it only if the information was manifestly incorrect — in particular an obvious pricing error that you could reasonably have recognised as such — or if the piece is no longer available. In that case we will notify you promptly and refund any payment in full. We will not use this section to alter an agreed price.
12. Third-party links and tools
The Site may contain links to third-party websites or tools that we do not control. We are not responsible for their content or practices; any use of third-party websites is at your own risk and subject to their terms.
13. Personal information
Your submission of personal information through the store is governed by our Privacy Policy and our Cookie Policy.
14. Prohibited uses
You may not use the Site or its content for any unlawful purpose; to infringe intellectual property rights; to harass or discriminate; to submit false information; to transmit viruses or malicious code; to collect personal information of others; to spam, scrape or crawl; or to interfere with the security features of the Site.
15. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Site and Services are provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SIA Aneli shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of the Site or Services. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including mandatory consumer rights under Latvian and EU law, liability for intent or gross negligence, or for harm to life or health.
16. Indemnification
If you use the Site or purchase from us other than as a consumer — that is, for purposes relating to your trade, business or profession — you agree to indemnify and hold harmless SIA Aneli and its officers, employees and partners from any claim arising out of your breach of these Terms or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party. This section does not apply to consumers.
17. Severability; entire agreement
If any provision of these Terms is held unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force. These Terms, together with the policies published on the Site, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the use of the Site and supersede any prior agreements.
18. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia. As a consumer, you also benefit from mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence. If you have a complaint, please contact us first at info@aneli.eu. We will respond within 10 working days. If our response does not resolve the matter, you have the right as a consumer to refer it to the Consumer Rights Protection Centre of Latvia (www.ptac.gov.lv) or to the courts.
19. Changes to these Terms
We reserve the right to update or replace any part of these Terms by posting updates on the Site. Your continued use of the Site following the posting of changes constitutes acceptance of those changes. Changes do not apply to orders already placed: your purchase is governed by the version of these Terms in force at the time your order was confirmed.
